Crassula arborescens, also known as silver dollar bush, is a succulent plant species in the Crassulaceae family. It is similar to the tree crassula. It has wide and relatively large leaves. The flowers are clustered and often white and star-shaped. This plant is native to the Western Cape and South Africa. This shrub grows 2 to 4 feet tall. The flower family contains more than 1000 species in 20 genera. The distribution of its plants is such that they are found in different areas of the globe so that they are seen everywhere except Australia and the islands of Oceania. The species of them that live in dry areas, due to the compromise with the environment, have acquired specialties that distinguish them from others, such as the fleshy stem and leaves, and cell sap rich in organic acids such as oxalic acid.
The plants of this family are generally herbaceous, more or less woody and often fleshy. They have alternate or opposite fleshy and simple leaves. Their flowers are regular and single or complex in the form of clubs
This plant grows up to 8.1 meters in suitable conditions. It looks like a shrub and its grayish-green leaves have a red edge
